Success for Robin at the Robin

The band played a great opening set for Aynsley Lister back on March 31st. The show was regarded as a success by all concerned. Lovely venue, great crowd, great crew and staff and Aynsley and his band were throughly nice people. Danny Fox and Danny Robinson surpassed themselves as ever. We look forward to returning there and recommend it highly if you want to see a band there. Thanks to all involved.

Yorkshire Blues Festival Cancelled

It's with some regret that we are passing on the news that the festival has been cancelled due to lack of demand. This is the press release from organisers Brave New Arts;

"A new Blues festival due to take place at Magna on Saturday 30th April for a 3 day period has been cancelled due to poor advance ticket sales and sponsorship. The first year of the festival had received great PR and interest to the international line up but advance ticket sales were unfortunately too slow and the organisers had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event.

Robin Hoare confirmed for the Yorkshire Blues Festival at Magna, Rotherham on Sunday May 1st.

The band will be opening proceedings on the Yorkshire Stage on Sunday May 1st. The festival has a stellar line up including the fabulous Mr Jack Bruce.

RHB share the stage with Aynsley Lister on Wed March 30th.

The band are proud to be sharing the bill with one of the UK and Europes premier blues/ rock based performers Mr Aynsley Lister. The venue is the appropriately named Robin 2 at Bilston near Birmingham, the Midland's finest 700 capacity concert venue. Expect a thrilling night from all concerned.
